Nowe Brzesko: Squares and Architectural History

The naves, presbytery and furnishings, on the other hand, date from the 17th and 18th centuries. The Premonstratensian, or Norbertine, monastery in Hebdów, founded in 1149, also forms part of the town’s historic character; it established the town’s reputation. A figure of the Virgin Mary with the Child Jesus, dating from the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, is also located in Hebdów.
