Archaeological investigations of the earthwork between 1964 and 1966 uncovered pottery and several metal objects. The finds indicate a residential and defensive structure and date the earthwork to the 13th to early 14th century.

The manor house is a two-storey, basemented building with a articulated structure and a gabled roof. In 1950, it was converted to accommodate a social welfare home.

The Jewish cemetery in Witów dates back to the 18th century. No gravestones have survived in the former Jewish cemetery; it was destroyed during the Second World War.
