Jerzmanowice: Hotels and Accommodation

At Jerzmanowice 63 stands a Dutch windmill from the 18th century. Considered the main attraction of Jerzmanowice, it is one of the best-preserved Dutch windmills in Lower Silesia. The historic windmill houses a restaurant. Its structure consists of wooden beams on a polygonal brick base.

Culture and History

The origins of the residence in Jerzmanowice date back to the first half of the 16th century. The late Renaissance manor house was extensively remodeled in the Neoclassical style in the first quarter of the 19th century and in the 1840s.

The palace grounds include a meadow with a view, surrounded by a winding path. East of the palace, there was probably a rectangular ornamental garden enclosed by a wall as early as the 18th century; surviving remnants point to this arrangement.

Landscape

Jerzmanowice is situated in gently rolling countryside described as attractive and picturesque. A small-leaved lime tree protected as a natural monument stands in Jerzmanowice. It stands on plot no. 11 and has a trunk circumference of 490 cm.

Cycling

Jerzmanowice lies along the first official cycle route. It runs from Rokitki via Biskupin and through forests towards Modła, turns near Czernikowice, continues to Jerzmanowice, and returns to Rokitki.
