The Szlak Dębów i ogrodów (Oak and Garden Route) runs through Budachów and the “Lasy Dobrosułowskie” Natura 2000 forests. It thus links the village with a named forest area. Park and old trees
A historic park in Budachów dates from the late 18th century. The former manor park covers about 5.36 hectares and has 27 tree species, including mainly oaks, black locusts, maples, beeches, and elms. The park is neglected, and its original layout has become indistinct. Both its historical date and present condition are relevant to understanding it: they describe the park’s origins and its character today.
Individual trees are also recorded with specific details. According to the records, Budachów’s park has two beech trees about 25 metres tall and around 350 years old, as well as four pedunculate oaks about 350 years old. The ages are estimates. The beeches also have an approximate height listed, while the pedunculate oaks are described by their estimated age. The details given for the two groups of trees therefore differ in scope.
Historic features in the village
Budachów’s historic oval village layout is a point of interest on the Szlak Dębów i ogrodów. The village also has individual buildings: an 18th-century Baroque church is considered worth seeing, and the historic forge dates from the 19th century. These highlight different aspects of the village’s history—the layout of the settlement, Baroque religious architecture, and a historic craft building. Festival and garden visit
