Adlig Kublitz: Cycling Routes, Hiking Trail and Churches

Adlig Kublitz (Kobylnica) can be described in terms of specific routes and religious buildings. Two cycling route sections lead to or continue from the town, covering different distances; the black Szlak Doliny Wieprzy i Studnicy hiking trail also passes through Kobylnica. Historic churches have been preserved in several places in the municipality. Cycling route sections with Kobylnica as the destination and starting point

The 30 km cycling route section runs from Ustka via Charnowo, Strzelino, Bierkowo and Słupsk to Kobylnica. A second section is 56 km long and runs from Kobylnica via Dębnica Kaszubska, Krzynia, Gałęźnia Mała and Osieki to Bytów. The two connections place the town at different points along the route: Kobylnica is the destination on the 30 km route and the starting point on the 56 km section. The lengths differ by 26 km. Your planning should therefore take into account both the distance and the direction in which you want to include Kobylnica on your cycling route.

A black hiking trail through Kobylnica

The black Szlak Doliny Wieprzy i Studnicy hiking trail offers another activity. The route is approximately 71 km long and runs from Słupsk via Kobylnica, Lubuń, Kwakowo, Lulemino, Zagórki and Korzybie to Miastko. Compared with the 30 km and 56 km cycling sections, the hiking trail covers a longer distance; its length is explicitly given as approximate. Its sequence of places also differs from that of the cycling routes. Here, Kobylnica lies between the stated endpoints of Słupsk and Miastko, unlike the cycling sections, where the town is the starting point on one and the destination on the other. Churches in Kobylnica and the municipality

The parish church of Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa in Kobylnica is entered in the register of monuments and included in the monument inventory. Historic churches have been preserved in Kobylnica, Kuleszewo, Sierakowo Słupskie, Kwakowo, Zębowo and Słonowice in the municipality of Kobylnica. Most of these churches can be visited via the designated Szlak Zabytków Sakralnych. The list therefore extends beyond Kobylnica to several other places in the municipality: for cultural orientation, a named building in the town stands alongside historic churches in several other places in the municipality.

Landscape and water in the surrounding area

Near the destination, a cycling route continues after passing through Kobylnica into the green, mostly forested “Dolina Słupi” Landscape Park, which covers 37,000 ha. In 2018, two new canoe landing stages were opened in Łosino and Lubuń in the municipality of Kobylnica. A landscape feature in the surrounding area and a dated water-related feature within the municipality thus complement the route and church information.
