Wayside chapels in Bukowno-Warszawka
Two brick wayside chapels in Bukowno-Warszawka broaden the picture of local architectural history beyond the manor house. The older one dates from the second half of the 19th century and stands at the crossroads of the road from Turów to Bukowno. A second wayside chapel is located on the road from Bukowno Warszawska to Bukowno Okupniki and dates from 1914. Both are brick, but their dates and locations differ.
Route A and getting there
The Route A cycling tour runs from Mstów via Wancerzów, Małusy Wielkie, Bukowno, Kotysów, Olsztyn and Kusięta, returning to Mstów. In the order listed, Bukowno lies between Małusy Wielkie and Kotysów; Mstów is both the starting and return point of the circular route. The section between Mstów and Bukowno passes through open fields. Overall, the tour is considered not difficult, but a few sections require more effort and conditions may vary. Check the current route signs before setting off. The open-field section offers a different landscape from the brick wayside chapels in Bukowno-Warszawka.
