Until 1947, Hruszowice was a Ukrainian village in Przemyśl County.
In 1939, Hruszowice had 1,020 inhabitants, including 960 Ukrainians, 30 Poles, 10 Ukrainian-speaking Roman Catholics, and 20 Jews.
