Warmia Suryty offers holiday homes on a peninsula directly on Lake Blanki in Suryty. The lake covers about 440 hectares. There are three piers and a beach on the property. These details make the location’s connection to the water tangible: Lake Blanki is not just a name on the map here, but shapes the setting of the holiday home accommodation described.
If you are considering Suryty as a base for a stay by the lake, you can plan your accommodation and excursions together. The routes described offer different perspectives on the surroundings: one local cycling route connects several places, a second loop passes, among other places, Lake Symsar, and the kayak route runs across several bodies of water.
Cycling on two different routes
Cycling is also popular here. The red-marked local cycle route No. 5 is 32 kilometres long. It runs through Lidzbark Warmiński, Łabno, Jarandowo, Kochanówka, Suryty and Blanki, past the “Świteź” resort and Medyny, and then back to Lidzbark Warmiński. Suryty is therefore part of a signposted route connecting several places.
Another cycling loop is about 30 kilometres long and runs via Kraszewo, Jarandowo and Lidzbark Warmiński. The return to Suryty is via Medyny, Kłębowo, Lake Symsar and Blanki.
The local road to Lidzbark Warmiński, renewed in 2011, also serves as a cycle path.
Kayaking across several lakes
A kayak route more than 20 kilometres long is described, running through Lake Blanki. It can be started at the headland at Blanki and continues via Lake Symsar and Klutajny to Lidzbark Warmiński.
Fishing on Lake Blanki
Lake Blanki is managed by Gospodarstwo Rybacko-Wędkarskie Olsztyn. Fishing permits cannot be purchased there online. If fishing is part of your plans for your stay, take this restriction into account when planning.
Suryty can thus be characterised by specific features: holiday homes on a peninsula on Lake Blanki, three piers and a beach on the property, as well as the cycling and kayak routes described.
