Location in the Ełk Lake District
Zajdy lies 9 km southwest of Olecko, north of Lake Kukowino and west of National Road 65. These relationships add three specific reference points to its location in the Ełk Lake District. They differ in how they are expressed: the distance and compass direction to Olecko are given, while the locations of Lake Kukowino and National Road 65 are specified by compass direction. Two routes with different local reference points
The green Ogródek–Wilkasy–Czarna Wieś hiking trail passes by Lake Zajdy. The “Nad jezioro Krzywe” route passes through Zajdy.
