Zalew Lubianka is the starting point for a specific hiking option: the yellow walking trail begins at a turning loop on ul. Myśliwska, on the east side of the lake. It is about 7.5 kilometres long. The trail runs along the southern side of Zalew Lubianka and leads to Langiewicz’s camp. Its starting point, approximate length and destination give you a clear idea of what to expect if you want to include a lake-related trail in your plans.
Another route starts at a transport hub: the black hiking trail begins at Starachowice Zachodnie railway and bus station and reaches the Wykus clearing. While the yellow walking trail is also given an approximate length, the description of the black trail leads to the Wykus clearing.

The Church of the Holy Trinity in Starachowice is a three-aisled sandstone church founded in 1681. Its construction and founding date connect two tangible aspects: you can consider the church as an architectural destination while also discovering a link to the town’s earlier history.
Another highlight is the Muzeum Przyrody i Techniki „Ekomuzeum“ im. Jana Pazdura, located on the site of the blast furnace works. Keep this in mind when planning if you are interested in the narrow-gauge railway; the two sections should be considered separately.
The road network also helps you get your bearings: Starachowice is on National Road 42 between Namysłów and Rudnik. Voivodeship roads 744, between Radom and Starachowice, and 756, between Starachowice and Stopnica, also begin here.
