History
Adolfowo was founded in 1816 by Ferdynand von Zach. He divided 319 hectares into ten farms and settled 38 German colonists there; the settlement was known as Stare Adolfowo.
Land was provided for a school in 1909. A two-storey building with two teachers’ apartments and four classrooms was built on the edge of the estate.
