Jarocin: Town Hall, Museum and Learning Centre
The Town Hall’s arcade-like ground-floor walkways are a distinctive architectural feature: solid pillars support the arches. The building was constructed between 1799 and 1804 on the site of earlier buildings dating from the 14th to the 18th century. Its history therefore encompasses both the present-day Town Hall and the older buildings that stood on the same site before it. Radolińskich Park and the Green Hiking Trail
Radolińskich Park is a landscape park covering about 30 hectares, laid out between 1840 and 1850. Its distinctive landscape features include one of Europe’s longest hornbeam avenues; there are also numerous trees of historical significance. The park offers a separate focus alongside the city’s historic buildings and cultural sites.
The green hiking trail is 24.5 kilometres long and runs from the railway station via the market square and Pałac Radolińskich to Jarocin City Park. Its route links several different stops: the station as a starting point, the market square, the palace and, finally, the parkland.
