Culture and History

The estate in Godziszewo includes a red-brick steward’s house built in 1910. Behind the manor house in Godziszewo lies a landscape park dating from the second half of the 19th century; the park covers 4 ha.

From 1696 until the Second World War, Godziszewo belonged to the Chobienice estates of the Mielżyński family. Along the access road to the manor house in Godziszewo, a group of four-family houses from the early 20th century has been preserved.

Godziszewo was first mentioned in 1391 under the name “Godzeszewo” as a noble village owned by Dobiesław Godziszewski.
