The starting and ending points of the hiking trails in Złotów County can be reached by train or PKS bus.

Krajna’s traditions are also part of regional life. Local associations and folk groups maintain old customs and promote Krajna embroidery and the Krajna dialect. One culinary specialty is “Czernina po krajeńsku na słodko” from Dzierzążenko, which was featured in the “Polska Wieś Smakuje” soup competition. Alongside the landscape and outdoor activities, these names give a trip its own cultural dimension.

The “Wrzosowiska w Okonku” nature reserve is also near the destination. It was established in 2008 on the site of a former military training ground. The “Diabli Skok” nature reserve lies at the source of the Rurzyca River and was established in the early 20th century; its name means “Devil’s Leap.” These places add further natural and historical points of interest to the region.
