Mały Dólsk: Hiking and local culture

Hiking trails with different routes

The Laskowice–Terespol im. ks. Łęgi hiking trail is 22 kilometers long. It starts at the railway station in Laskowice Pomorskie, passes through Mały Dólsk, and ends at the reservoir in Kozłowo. This makes the village a waypoint along the route between the railway station and the reservoir. The trail, named after Łęgi, is one of the marked hiking trails. Its length gives you a specific measure of the tour, while the sequence of the railway station, Mały Dólsk, and the reservoir makes the route easy to follow. This combination of distance and named landmarks helps you assess it as a hiking option in its own right.

The yellow Szlak Dębowy stands out mainly for its circular route: it runs from Bedlenka via Mały Dólsk and Dólsk back to Bedlenka. This means the loop returns to its starting point. Mały Dólsk is also a section of this trail, here as part of a route that ends back in Bedlenka. The two routes offer different points of reference for planning: the trail to Łęgi has a stated length and a destination at the reservoir, while the Szlak Dębowy returns to its starting point. Cultural heritage and harvest festival traditions

The Evangelical cemetery in Mały Dólsk is among the cemeteries listed as historic monuments. This adds a specific link to local cultural heritage alongside the hiking routes. Together with the harvest festival competition, it offers two distinct cultural connections: a listed historic site and community creativity centered on a local tradition.

Mały Dólsk took part in a competition organized by the municipality of Drzycim (Gmina Drzycim) to create welcome signs for the harvest festival. The participating Polish village units (Sołectwa) created straw structures to decorate their respective villages and inform passersby about the upcoming festival. The competition also brought people together for enjoyment, helped preserve tradition, and fostered integration within the local community. Creativity, festival announcements, and shared experiences thus came together in an initiative that connected the participating villages with the harvest festival.
