In Smólnik, the approximately 15 km-long trail “Smólnik–Kosinowo–Ruda” runs through the buffer zone of the Gostynińsko-Włocławski Landscape Park. The trail is a nature-oriented forest path.
The 18 km-long blue hiking trail “Łącznikowy” leads from Kowal via Smólnik to the PKS bus stop in Mostki on Road No. 62 between Włocławek and Płock; Smólnik is located at kilometre 15.9 of the route.

Culture
The parish church of St Bartholomew in Smólnik was built between 1969 and 1974 and designed by the architect and engineer Aleksander Holas from Poznań. Since 2008, its main wall has featured a large stained-glass window depicting a dove with outstretched wings.
