Stróza combines marked trails to rock formations with a church, a villa and a historic farmstead. There is also bouldering at Wielki Kamień and a sports and recreation zone aimed at children and teenagers. When choosing where to stay, you can therefore focus on different things: nature trails, climbing, architectural history or activities for younger visitors. The specific details about trail markings, construction dates and facilities give each of these themes its own profile.

Rock Formations and Marked Trails

Wielki Kamień can be reached by a short trail marked in black. It branches off from the trail marked in yellow, which runs over the summit and ridge of Krzywicka Góra. The markings therefore distinguish the route over the summit and ridge from the black-marked branch to the rock.

Diabelski Kamień provides a second natural highlight. The rock formation is 6.5 m high and lies on the slopes of Kotoń; a marked branch leads to it. The two destinations stand out for different details: Wielki Kamień is notable for its trail markings and connection to Krzywicka Góra, while Diabelski Kamień is distinguished by its height and location on the slope. This makes it possible to tell the two rock destinations apart by specific features without treating their routes as the same.

Bouldering at Wielki Kamień

Bouldering is also available at Wielki Kamień. There are five bouldering problems graded 6b to 6c on the French scale. As activity details can change, check the number and grades before planning your visit.

Church, Villa and Farmstead

The construction period and later interior features of the Church of Our Lady Queen of Poland can be considered separately. The church was built between 1904 and 1909 in the Neo-Gothic style; the freestanding bell tower was built in 1908. The interior contains Neo-Baroque altars and stained-glass windows made in 1966 to a design by Adam Bunsch. The construction phase and interior furnishings thus provide different points of reference for looking at the church’s architecture.

Willa Klebertówka was built in 1923 and stands near the hamlet of Miłogoszcz. The “Firkówka” farmstead dates from 1924. The two dates are just one year apart, but refer to different building types: a villa and a farmstead. Along with the church, these buildings broaden the view of local architectural history beyond a single building or style.

Sports and Recreation for Younger Visitors

The Strefa Aktywności Sportowo-Rekreacyjnej is intended for children and teenagers from Stróża and all the surrounding localities. A report dated 14 April 2026 described the facility as complete and listed a pump track for cycling and skateboarding, a playground, a covered seating area and benches. The facilities combine activities on wheels and boards with a playground and places to sit. For families, this offers a different focus from the rock trails or historic buildings: here, specific sports and play facilities take centre stage.
