The green corridor along the Rakówka connects the Binków, Słoneczne, Edwardów, Okrzei and Budowlanych districts with the city centre. An asphalt cycle path connects Bełchatów with the Wawrzkowizna and Słok recreation centres. History in the municipality of Bełchatów
The ruins of a fortified manor stand in Mikorzyce on a hill surrounded by a moat. In Postękalice, the wooden filial church of St Roch was built in 1737.
The area also has a visible defence history: three of the seventeen surviving reinforced-concrete field bunkers in the defensive system along the Widawka are located in the municipality of Bełchatów. The bunkers were built for the “Łódź” Army from June 1939 onwards. In Łękawa, a palace and park complex adds to the picture: an almost square 18th-century palace stands amid a park.

The Powiatowe Centrum Sportu in Bełchatów has an indoor swimming pool, a sports hall and a sports field with an artificial surface. Check the latest access conditions before your visit.
