Wojnowice was referred to as Wynowicz in 1291. In 1341, the settlement was established under German law.
The third church building in Wojnowice was begun in 1803 and consecrated in 1805. In 1889, a neo-Gothic tower with a tall spire was added to the church in Wojnowice.
The palace of Wojnowice dates from 1713 and was rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century. It is a Baroque rectangular building with a richly decorated portal framed by pilasters and gables adorned with stucco.
