The valley of the meandering Krężniczanka shapes the landscape of Krężnica Jara. Numerous springs feed streams that flow into the river. The parish church of St Florian was built between 1884 and 1887 and is designed in the Neo-Gothic style. An obelisk beside a road in Krężnica Jara commemorates two events from July 1944. During the night of 21–22 July, partisans blew up a German ammunition train. The obelisk also commemorates the execution of 22 residents from Makoszka and Plebania Wola on 22 July 1944. It therefore marks a sombre part of history, clearly distinct from the architecture of the parish church and the natural features of the area.
