Reservoirs among the forests

The two reservoirs in Chodel cover a total of 14 hectares and are located among forests. One reservoir is surrounded by pine forests and woodland and is used for recreation. A sandstone tomb for the church’s founder, Bernard Maciejowski, and his wife, Elżbieta, also contributes to the historic atmosphere. The bicycle rental service launched in 2025; in its second season, it has ten bicycles, equipped with helmets. They are available to women, men and young people. Another historic site

Chodel is also home to a grave of Austrian soldiers from the First World War. Together with the parish church, it broadens the view of local history beyond architecture.
