Culture

The Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Podedwórze is protected under the heritage register and heritage inventory. It was built between 1805 and 1811 at the expense of Ignacy and Jan Szlubowski, the owners of Opole. In 1890, it was converted into an Orthodox church and reconciled in 1918; today, it serves as a chapel.

At the intersection of the Wisznice–Kodeniec and Mosty–Jabłoń roads stands the brick chapel from 1646, featuring an image of Christ in Distress. With its folk wooden figure of Christ in Distress, it is considered the oldest sacred monument in Podedwórze.

Stefan Szyller designed the Red Church in Podedwórze. It is a Neo-Gothic brick building with two square towers of different heights.

Nature

Gora Bakha and Gora Mutvitsa are hills in the wider regional surroundings of Opole.

The “Warzewo” nature reserve can be reached from Opole via unpaved country roads.
