A trail through protected botanical areas

Near Karwia, at Bielawskie Błota below Ostrowo, an educational walking trail created by the Nadmorski Landscape Park runs through the two protected botanical areas “Woskownicy Bielawskiego Błota” and “Moroszka Bielawskiego Błota”. The trail serves both an educational and recreational purpose and passes through both protected areas. This is another option for guests who would like to include a natural feature in the surrounding area in their travel plans, in addition to the beach and coastal forest. The two areas have their own names, which makes them easy to find if you are interested in visiting them.

The church in Karwia

The history of the church is another distinctive detail about the town. In 1947, Maria and Ksawery Wittbrodt, residents of Karwia, donated the land for the present-day church in Karwia. The plot measured 2,754 m²; the shell of the building was completed at the end of 1950. These dates put the donation and construction progress in context: the donation of the land was followed by the completion of the building shell at the end of 1950. The church has three bells named “Edmund”, “Jan” and “Antoni”. For travellers interested in local history, the names of the donors, the plot and the bells offer a tangible glimpse into the town’s past.
