Lepaki Wielkie probably dates back to 1476. In 1483, the beekeepers Tomko and Piotr Lepak from Lepaki received a settlement charter. There are seven years between the dates; the probable beginning should be distinguished from the specifically dated charter. The two men’s names and their work as beekeepers make the early history of the place more vivid than a bare date. A report from 2012 describes the cemetery in Lepaki Wielkie as well maintained and lists 23 graves, including seven children’s graves.
