Nature and views at Kadyński Las
A notable natural attraction in Kadyny is the pedunculate oak “Dąb Bażyńskiego”. It is estimated to be more than 700 years old, and its trunk circumference at chest height is given as 10 metres. Its name recalls Jan Bażyński, the first owner of the manor in Kadyny. The “Kadyński Las” nature and history trail runs along the slope above Kadyny. At a viewpoint on the trail, you can look out over the Ceglanego Potoku valley, a brickworks, the Vistula Lagoon and the Vistula Spit. The view thus encompasses both the valley and the broad waterside and coastal landscapes. A guided tour with a forester along the nature and history trail is available by prior arrangement.
