The recreational beach with a swimming area was opened for residents and tourists. When it opened, the facility included two bathing piers measuring 24.50 × 2.40 metres in total, a recreational pavilion with four wooden tables and benches, eight additional benches, three waste bins and a fire pit. The measurements apply to both piers combined. The opening also included an unpaved car park for about ten cars. These specific features give you a clear picture of the facility: a swimming area, seating, a fire pit and approximate parking capacity. A foot and cycle path about 1,560 metres long connects National Road DK16 with Kątno; the municipality reported its completion on 4 April 2024. The first path connects the national road with the village, while the second is a named cycling route through Kątno. If you are travelling by car, DK16 provides a specific reference point for your journey; cyclists can locate the village on the route between Olsztyn and Stare Jabłonki.
