Neo-Gothic church and preserved historic fabric
St Bartholomew’s Church was built in the Neo-Gothic style between 1898 and 1901. The three-aisled building has a low clock tower at its northeastern corner. During construction, the Gothic nave was demolished; its north wall and the medieval defensive tower were preserved. The defensive tower continued to serve as a bell tower. The church offers a way to appreciate both Neo-Gothic design and the survival of older architectural features.
A natural area nearby
The Sosny Taborskiej Nature Reserve lies near Miłomłyn, in the neighbouring municipality of Łukta. It was established in 1957 to protect the local ecotype of Scots pine and natural succession processes in a deciduous forest habitat. An educational trail runs through the protected area and is intended for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as adults and children. More than ten wooden information boards line the route. A visit to the natural area therefore combines time outdoors with information about the forest and the reserve.
