Karlino: Cycling Routes and Sobótka
Accommodation in Karlino
Cycling and a recurring June event offer two different starting points for planning your time in Karlino. One cycling route runs along the Parsęta to the kayak station; another leads from the Bike-&-Ride point to the Homanit Polska plant in Brzeźno. In addition, Noc Świętojańska, also called Sobótka, takes place every year at the kayak marina. You can plan your stay around either a specific route or the night of the festival.

Cycling routes with different destinations
The cycling route along the Parsęta to the kayak station is about 1.5 km long. The second route starts at the Bike-&-Ride point and leads to the Homanit Polska plant in Brzeźno; it is 2.7 km long. That makes it around 1.2 km longer than the first route, although the distance to the kayak station is approximate. In addition to their length, the routes differ in their destinations. When planning your cycling days, first decide whether the kayak station or Brzeźno is your destination; you can then consider the distance for the route you choose. The two route descriptions offer a clear choice by direction and length.
The Bike-&-Ride station is located on ul. Kolejowa in Karlino. Its facilities include a self-service bicycle repair station and covered bicycle parking. This makes ul. Kolejowa a clearly identified reference point for the route to Brzeźno. The facilities serve different purposes: the repair station is for carrying out bicycle repairs yourself, while the covered spaces are for parking bicycles. When preparing for your cycling day, you can use the station’s location to orient yourself and plan your route. The distinction also helps you tell the Bike-&-Ride station, the starting point, apart from the kayak station, the destination of the route along the Parsęta.
Noc Świętojańska in June
Noc Świętojańska, also called Sobótka, takes place every year on the night of June 23–24 at the kayak marina in Karlino. The date refers to a specific night spanning two calendar days, not simply any day in June. If you are making the event the reason for your trip, plan your stay around that night. The annual date is therefore a clear planning point: check whether your preferred travel dates include June 23 and 24 before looking for a hotel in Karlino. The event date thus provides a different reference point for planning your trip from the cycling routes: it is a fixed date, not a route, that determines your plans.
A simple sequence can help when looking for a hotel in Karlino: first decide whether you want to plan your stay around a cycling route or Noc Świętojańska. For cycling, the chosen destination and route length are your guide; for the event, it is the night of June 23–24. This way, you can plan your stay dates around what you want to do in Karlino.
