Discover Sianozety: beach, pier and coastal trails

Sianozety (Sianożęty) combines a wide sandy beach with a pier, as well as hiking and cycling trails. The area around the village lies within the Koszaliński Pas Nadmorski Protected Landscape Area. Different priorities can go hand in hand when planning a holiday: time by the water, a walk, a hike with a named destination or a cycling tour. The season, route and surfaces can help you decide which options best suit your travel plans. If swimming is your main reason for visiting, you’ll need different information than if you’re planning a marked route or a cycling tour.

Beach and bathing area

The wide sandy beach is about 1,400 m long. In summer, there is a guarded bathing area; the summer bathing area extends along 1,400 m of coastline, excluding two water lanes for the local so-called shore-fishermen’s harbour facility. Three renovated, safe and signposted access points lead to the beach from Ku Morzu, Lotnicza and Sztormowa streets. These three street names provide specific landmarks when coordinating a beach visit with other destinations for the day.

During the summer season, a designated section of beach for dogs is located west of beach access point No. 1, on part of plot 324/7. Before visiting, check which rules apply for the current season.

Walks and hikes

The red-marked E-9 international long-distance trail runs in two directions from Sianozety. Towards Gąski, it passes through Ustronie Morskie and Wieniotowo to the Gąski Lighthouse; this route is about 9 km long. Towards Kołobrzeg, the trail passes through Bagicz and covers approximately 10 km. The stated distances are close, but the destinations and routes differ. So when choosing a day for a hike, you can first decide on your destination and then consider the approximate distance. Check the route before setting out.

The pier in Sianozety is a tourist attraction and a place for walks. It offers something different from the E-9: rather than choosing between two long-distance hiking directions, the pier itself is the focus of a walk.

Cycling

The international R10 coastal cycling route passes through Sianozety. Within the area managed by the relevant forest district, it is about 48 km long and runs over asphalt, unpaved paths and cobblestones. The stated distance refers to the forest district area; the change in surfaces is another specific factor to consider when planning a cycling tour. In Sianozety, a cycle path invites you to ride towards Kołobrzeg. This raises different questions when planning your tour: Which direction interests you, and which surfaces are relevant to your cycling plans? The figures refer to different areas: 48 km applies to the forest district area, while the approximately 9 and 10 km figures apply to the two E-9 directions from Sianozety.
