Magdalenki: Hotels and Accommodation

Magdalenki was established as a result of the emancipation of the peasants in the first half of the 19th century. When the settlement was founded, Kalikst Bojanowski moved the farmland from Krzekotowice closer to Czeluścin. The settlement was named after Magdalena Bojanowska, the mother of the initiator of this reform.

Cycling

The Szlak Bohaterów II Wojny Światowej, a cycling route approximately 25 kilometres long, runs through Magdalenki. The route is dedicated to the heroes of the Second World War. In the published route sequence, Magdalenki lies between Czeluścinek and Krzekotowice.

Culture and History

Antoni Busz was born in Magdalenki and served in the Polish Army from 1919 to 1921. A memorial plaque for Antoni Busz is located in Magdalenki on a cross. In 1942, house no. 29 in Magdalenki served as a meeting place for a group of Poles.
