For planning a trip to Miłosław, two hiking trails and several cultural sites provide concrete points of reference. The blue trail runs from Miłosław via Sarnice to Czeszewo; the red circular trail passes through Winna Góra, Winne Góry and the Miłosławka Valley before returning to the train station. In town, the church south of the market square and the monument in the park offer further orientation. This can help you decide whether to focus your stay more on a trail or on cultural destinations.

Hiking trails with different routes

The blue hiking trail is 9.0 kilometres long. It starts in Miłosław Park at the hiking-trail junction beside the canal bridge and runs via Sarnice to Czeszewo. You can take its starting point, length and destination into account when planning. The sequence of places helps you locate the trail on a map and match the outing to your own schedule. Check the current waymarking and trail conditions locally before setting out.

The red circular trail starts at Miłosław train station. From there, it runs through Winna Góra, Winne Góry and the Miłosławka Valley to the park, then returns to the station. Its circular route sets it apart from the blue trail: the start and finish are at the same named place, while the stops in between define the route. For this trail, too, check the current waymarking and local conditions.

The blue trail leads to Czeszewo, while the red one ends back at the train station. The park serves as a point of reference for both—as the starting area of the blue trail and a stop on the red circular trail. This makes it a useful landmark to consider when planning your routes.

Church, quest and park monument

The Church of St James the Greater Apostle (pw. św. Jakuba Większego Apostoła) stands in central Miłosław, south of the market square. Its location provides a clear point of reference for finding your way around town. The quest “Miłosław zawsze polski” starts in front of the church on ul. Kościelna. If you are interested in this route, you can therefore pinpoint its starting point at a precisely named location.

The landscape park is home to the first monument to Juliusz Słowacki erected on Polish territory. It was unveiled on 16 September 1899. The park thus links one of the hiking trails’ points of reference with a specific chapter in the history of Polish literature. The connection between place and date is easy to remember when planning: the monument stands in Miłosław Park, and its unveiling took place on a specific day.

Another cultural stop is the former Evangelical church in Miłosław, which is now a cultural centre. This means the listed cultural sites include both a former church building and the church in the town centre. Together with the monument in the park, they offer different points of interest for a stay that includes not only hiking but also Miłosław’s history and culture.
