Graudenz (Grudziądz) can be explored through its location on the Vistula and its architectural history. The first brick granaries were built here in the 14th century. The Muzeum Handlu Wiślanego is housed in historic granaries Nos. 33 and 35 on Spichrzowa Street. It presents the Vistula route through Graudenz as a trade route. The finds date from the period of Roman influence, from the 1st century BC to the 5th century AD. Park Miejski and visiting hours
Park Miejski is designated as a natural and landscape complex. It has a playground as well as military exhibits: a T-34 tank from the Second World War, anti-tank guns and an aircraft. The park’s revitalisation also restored the former rose garden, the former Rosarium. For families, the playground can be a particular point of interest; history enthusiasts will also find the military exhibits mentioned above in the park.
Góra Zamkowa and the Wieża „Klimek” tower are free to visit and require no booking. Opening hours vary by season: from November to February, they are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; in March and October, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; and from April to September, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Keep these seasonal opening hours in mind when planning your stay.
