Culture and History
The Church of St. Wojciech in Niedźwiedź was built as a brick church in 1493; previously, there had been a wooden church on the site. It is listed both in the register of historical monuments and in the list of heritage sites.
Stanisław Wodzicki established a garden around the palace in Niedźwiedź, where he cultivated rare plants introduced from all over the world. A London plane tree from this collection has survived in the former palace garden; remnants of a lime-tree avenue that led from the palace to the local church have also been preserved.
Cycling
The Kościuszko Cycling Trail runs through Niedźwiedź. Its route refers to Tadeusz Kościuszko's march towards Racławice in 1794 and his return towards Kraków after the victory.
Nordic Walking
The black-marked Trasa nr 3 Słomniki is a 9.9-kilometre Nordic walking circular route. An orange-marked connecting trail of Trasa nr 3 Słomniki runs through Niedźwiedź to Słomniki.
