Gothic parish church and furnishings

The Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross in Nowe Rybie is a Gothic parish church built of stone, plastered and roofed with sheet metal. It was probably originally built in the second half of the 14th century and has been renovated several times. A comprehensive renovation took place from 1993 to 1997. The construction date is considered probable, while the major renovation took place precisely during these years; the details therefore relate to different chapters in the building’s history. Stone, plaster and a sheet-metal roof add specific construction features to its Gothic style.
