Chapels and Traces of History

A wayside chapel built in 1828 stands in Babica on the main road from Wadowice to Wysoka. It is considered one of the oldest chapels in the Wadowice municipality. Its construction date and place in local history make it a notable historical landmark in the village.

At the southern edge of Babica, the childhood home of Lieutenant Tadeusz Sadowski “Tomo” stands on the yellow hiking trail. He was born there on 1 July 1922 and lived there until he was nineteen. The site thus connects a specific life story with a named stretch at the southern edge of the village.

The village’s small religious monuments include several wayside shrines with different depictions and dedications.
