The XVI Targi Ogrodniczo-Pszczelarskie in Lubań is a regular outdoor event for those interested in horticulture, beekeeping, and nature. At the XV edition, visitors could buy local honey, preserves, and handicrafts. There were also activities and creative workshops for children.

The XXVI Kashubian Agricultural Harvest Festival in Lubań included the culinary competition „Wypieki z warzyw“ on September 14, 2024. The program also included the horse-drawn carriage driving competition „im. Wojciecha Dąbrowskiego“, a demonstration of competitive wood cutting and chopping, and a harvest concert.

The „Największa dynia“ competition is planned for September 19 and 20, 2026, as part of the XXVIII Kashubian Agricultural Harvest Festival in Lubań.

Culture and Local History

The Church p.w. św. Piotra i Pawła in Lubań is one of the tourist attractions of the Gmina Nowa Karczma. The filial church p.w. Świętych Apostołów Piotra i Pawła in Lubań was built in the late 1980s and bears the name „Św. Jana Pawła II“.

Landscape

A damaged section of Jezioro Lubańskie was restored to a more natural state in the municipality of Nowa Karczma. As part of this work, a regulated shoreline was created.
