Linia: Hotels and accommodation

The official Route No. 1 starts in front of the church in Linia and ends back in Linia. It is described as either a one-day cycling tour or a two-day hike with an overnight stay in the forester's lodge in Mirachowo; at Lechicka Szczelina, a beautiful view of Jeziora Potęgowskie opens up at kilometre 8.1.

History and culture

Linia was mentioned in official documents in 1342 and 1354 and received a location charter in 1373.

In 2026, Linia hosted the XXXI Ogólnopolski Konkurs Haftu Kaszubskiego im. Edmunda Szymikowskiego. For many years, the competition has brought together lovers and creators of Kashubian embroidery from various parts of Poland. It promotes Kashubian folk art and contributes to preserving Kashubian traditions.

Nature and geographical setting

Around 60 % of the Linia municipality is legally protected because it lies within the Kashubian Landscape Park and its buffer zone. According to the Linia municipality, the Łeba River is suitable for organised kayaking tours and has the character of a mountain river in some places.

Further routes and orientation

Route No. 2 runs from Niepoczołowice via Bukowina and Folwark Niepoczołowicki to Jezioro Czarne and Potęgowo.

West of the centre of Linia, on the road to Zakrzewo and Lębork, lies Linia Zakrzewo railway station. From there, Lębork or Kartuzy can be reached.
