The Izba Regionalna im. Emilii Michalskiej is part of the municipal cultural centre in Pruchna. Another historical landmark is the atonement cross at 58 Katowicka Street. The massive sandstone block dates from 1645. It is considered the last and only surviving testament in Cieszyn Silesia to an old law: those convicted had to erect a cross at the scene of the crime at their own expense or through their own labour. Pruchna’s natural monuments include an avenue along Główna Street. It consists of 12 lime trees and 3 oaks, between 150 and 300 years old. These figures give the avenue its distinctive character: rather than individual ancient trees being the focus, it is a whole stand of trees comprising two different species.
