History

The recorded owners of Radostków included Mikołaj and Rafał around the middle of the 15th century. Małgorzata was among its owners from 1458 to 1461; in the 16th century, Felicja and Sebastian Pągowski were among them. In the same century, Radostków consisted of estate land and peasant fields covering a total of about 1.5 łan.

In the second half of the 19th century, the Radostków estate comprised the Radostków and Nałęcz manors, the settlements of Bentkowskie and Teofilów, a lime kiln, and a watermill. Radostków also contains settlement traces from the pre-Roman period and the period of Roman influence. The modern-era settlement site “Radostków 4 AZP 84-48/30” is also located in the village. Archaeological evidence in the vicinity of Radostków testifies to the development of human communities during the formation of the Polish state.

The “Kaba-Rado” cabaret festival has been documented in Radostków since 2017.

Nature
