Museum and events in Gołdap
The permanent exhibition at the Muzeum Ziemi Gołdapskiej consists mainly of ethnographic, historical and geological exhibits, as well as military memorabilia. It gives your trip a cultural stop if you are interested in the different layers of local history and the landscape. Gołdap has held health resort status since 2000, with a therapeutic mud and climate profile. Its spa infrastructure includes a mineral water pump room and graduation towers. The Mazurskie tężnie solankowe, or graduation towers, are 220 metres long and 8 metres high. Together, these facilities give the town a distinctive health resort profile that sets it apart from a destination focused solely on waterside excursions.
The historic water tower also offers a different perspective on the town: its two modern viewing terraces overlook Gołdap and the surrounding forests. Lake experiences and trails towards Grabowo
At the Słoneczny Zakątek beach complex, you can play table tennis or take a solar-powered catamaran trip on Lake Gołdap. For a land-based outing, the green „Szlak mazurskich gór“ hiking trail starts at the monument to Emanuel Kant in Gołdap and heads south towards Grabowo.

Miniature golf courses are located around the graduation towers and on the shore of Jezioro Gołdap.
