Cycling Routes with Different Features

The “Bagna Chlebowo” cycling route starts and ends at the Museum of Milling and Water-Powered Rural Industry in Jaracz and leads to the Bagna Chlebowo nature reserve. Cycling also plays a role here: the “Rezerwaty” cycling route leads to the “Wełna” nature reserve in Jaracz. It is about 90 kilometres long and starts at the swimming pool in Oborniki.

Oborniki and Rogoźno: Routes and Architectural History

In the Oborniki municipality, the historical educational trail makes it easier to find places of interest: 33 information boards along the trail point out destinations in Oborniki and the surrounding area. One of the stops is the Gothic parish church of the Assumption of Mary in Oborniki, which dates from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. Rogoźno also has a remarkable architectural history. The Church of St Vitus has three naves and a pseudo-basilica layout; according to tradition, its present form dates from around 1526. The Wojciech Dutkiewicz Regional Museum is housed in the listed Neoclassical New Town Hall. The building was constructed between 1826 and 1828 and extended between 1911 and 1913. The church and museum showcase two different aspects of historic architecture in the same town.
