The history of Goleniów
Brama Wolińska, also known as Brama Chrobrego, is a Gothic defensive gate dating from the 14th century. The structure is 26 metres high and has six storeys. Significant sections of the medieval town walls have survived. The most interesting and best-preserved section lies southwest of the Old Town, beside the Ina. The river flows through the town and municipality of Goleniów. On its bank is Goleniowska Aleja Legend, renovated in 2013: a promenade with granite sculptures depicting local legends.
