Bobolice: Trollius Flowers, Regional Museum and Organ Music

The 24-kilometre “Szlak Pełnika Europejskiego” starts in Bobolice at the trollius flower meadows. It runs via Ubiedrze and Kępiste, near the Wrzosowiec forest tree nursery, and ends at the stone circles in the Bobolice Forest District area. Bobolice is also home to the northernmost site of the trollius flower. Its lemon-yellow to golden-yellow blooms open in May; the plant is legally protected. Regional history at the museum

The Muzeum Regionalne w Bobolicach collects, preserves and displays archaeological and military exhibits, tools and everyday objects from the pre-war period, as well as objects brought by Polish settlers after the Second World War. The museum also collects documents relating to the history of Bobolice, the Bobolice area and Pomerania, as well as coins, decorations, medals, works of folk and fine art, and natural history exhibits. The collection thus brings together local and regional history, art and natural history.

Some of the collections are displayed in permanent exhibitions across seven departments: archaeology, ethnography, gallery, the history of Bobolice, military collections, prison art and natural history.
