The palace and park complex in Jaszczurowa is of significant historical value in the Nadskawie region. If you are interested in historic sites and landscape design, this complex lets you explore both aspects. The English landscape park is a specific feature of its described design, not merely a general term for a green space.

Another cultural point of interest is the memorial room dedicated to writer Janina Barbara Górkiewiczowa. It was established in 2007 and is located at the primary school in Jaszczurowa. The palace and park complex and the memorial room offer different ways of exploring local history: one through the connection between architecture and park design, the other through remembrance of a writer. Cruises and Boat Hire on Lake Mucharskie

Sightseeing cruises on Lake Mucharskie depart from and return to the port of Jaszczurowa. Hiking Destinations and a Trail to Leskowiec

A trail to Leskowiec (922 m) runs from the last Jaszczurowa PKS bus stop (Pętla) along a gravel road to the Dudówka settlement and then follows the Jaszczurówka stream. The trail is unmarked. Its starting point, route and destination are therefore clearly specified, while the lack of markings is an important factor when choosing a route. If you are considering this hike, bear in mind both the route described and the elevation of Leskowiec.

In the area around the destination, three hiking trails near Lake Mucharskie and its immediate surroundings lead to peaks in the Beskid Makowski and Beskid Mały ranges. The Beskid Makowski peaks named are Jaroszowicka Góra (541 m), Starowidz (534 m) and Chełm (603 m); in the Beskid Mały, they are Żmijowa (595 m), Gołuszkowa Góra (715 m) and Magurka Ponikiewska (790 m). The peaks are therefore spread across two mountain ranges, offering several named destinations to choose from. Elevations range from 534 to 603 m in the Beskid Makowski and from 595 to 790 m in the Beskid Mały; Leskowiec is part of the separately described route.
