The red Nadodrzański hiking trail runs through Binowo, Chlebowo, Stare Brynki, Gryfino, Dolna Odra and Nowe Czarnowo. Within the municipality of Gryfino, it covers 31.45 kilometres. The route links Stare Brynki with several places and landscapes in the municipality. Stare Brynki can also be reached on foot or by bicycle via a red hiking trail.
The landscape along a section of the red hiking trail is open as it approaches the village. The Wietrzne Góry hills lie to the right of the route. North of Stare Brynki, a road runs through the forest alongside the Omulna stream as far as Puszcza Bukowa. Nearby points of interest also include the ruins of a mill and sawmill, both named after the Omulna stream. This means open stretches of trail and a wooded area by the stream lie side by side around the village.
The area also offers specific opportunities for nature watching: roe deer can be spotted in and around Stare Brynki, and cranes can be heard. Chestnut boletes and bay boletes can also be found nearby. Village History and Church
Stare Brynki is a Cistercian village; the monks were granted rights here around 1240. The village’s history therefore dates back to the Middle Ages. The medieval heritage and the more recent church building belong to different periods in the village’s history, making the centre interesting to visitors seeking historical context as well as trails and nature.
