The field pond is a distinctive feature of Bogusławiec’s landscape: its lush vegetation and the trees around it give it a character of its own. Visitors interested in birds can also look out for the stork nests near the grocery store. The pond and the nests offer different reasons to focus on the local natural environment.
A single tree also makes a special impression. Behind the former farm buildings grows a black poplar with a trunk circumference of 445 centimetres. With its trunk circumference of 445 centimetres, the black poplar is a striking natural feature.
Farmsteads and historic residential buildings
The historic farmstead buildings are considered a local highlight in Bogusławiec. Individual residential buildings also form part of Bogusławiec’s historic architecture. Residential building No. 4–5 was constructed in the last quarter of the 19th century. Its preserved historic design gives the building significant cultural value.
At residential building No. 6, the cornices and the window and door surrounds stand out as preserved architectural details. The former school is now residential building No. 7: a small historic building of the ceramic-brick house type. These examples highlight different aspects—from a house’s design and individual architectural features to its former use as a school.
Residential building No. 8 dates from the 19th/20th century and is considered a cultural heritage site of particular importance to the Kołobrzeg municipality. Together with buildings No. 4–5, No. 6 and No. 7, it shows how varied the local traces of architectural history are. The buildings bring together preserved architectural features, former uses and different construction periods, creating a varied picture of the area’s architectural history.
Events and the wider region
Bogusławiec’s events include Święto Mleka. It is a regular event for children, young people and adults. This cross-generational character adds another dimension to the place, alongside attentive nature observation and the exploration of historic buildings.

Dźwirzyno Beach is a broad, sandy stretch of coast bordered by dunes and pine forest, suitable for walks and relaxing in the shade. The Kołobrzeg municipality also encompasses coastal dunes, peat bogs, pine forests, meadows, salt marshes and river valleys. More than 700 species of vascular plants have been recorded there, including many protected species. Sphagnum mosses and marsh vegetation grow in the raised bogs around Dźwirzyno and Grzybowo, where insectivorous plants can also be found.

The hunting palace in Budzistowo was built around the turn of the 20th century in the Eclectic style. Grzybowo and Dźwirzyno have three Nordic walking trails of varying difficulty, which run along the beaches and through the coastal forest. The 55-kilometre Wokół Jeziora Resko route runs mostly through the Kołobrzeg municipality and also enters the neighbouring Trzebiatów municipality. The shorter trails, with their clearly stated range of difficulty levels, and the longer cycling route offer different kinds of activities.
